CBC article, podcast episode, and signing books at McNally Robinson
Lots has happened since the book was released
What a whirlwind the past couple of weeks have been!
Since the release of A brief relief from hunger, every day has been both exhilarating and, to be honest, a bit of a blur.
Launching a book, especially one so close to my heart, is an experience filled with emotions, challenges, and, of course, exciting milestones.
One of the highlights has been the media attention the book has garnered.
I was thrilled to chat with CBC for an article on my journey and the inspiration behind the book.
The experience was surreal—seeing my story and book in a CBC article, being shared with readers across the country.
Further adding to the media coverage, I had the pleasure of joining People First Radio for a podcast episode.
Diving deep into conversations about addiction, poetry, and my personal journey was both introspective and insightful.
Another highlight was signing books at McNally Robinson Booksellers in Winnipeg. If you buy a copy from there, you'll see a little sticker on the front showing it's signed by me.
I also appreciate all the family and friends who have purchased copies. You’re definitely getting my sales numbers up!
And I’m very excited to see some of those same family and friends at my launch on Saturday at Tuppenny Coffee and Books in Regina.
Once again, a big thank you to each one of you for your continued support.
The journey, so far, has been incredible, and I'm excited to see where the road takes us next.
